Manager of Client Services

PRIMARY FUNCTION

The primary function of the Manager of Client Services is to build and manage successful calling campaigns for Key Account clients that generate results, stay within scope and support retention while overseeing all client service functions within the organization. Client Managers report directly to the Manager of Client Services. This position is also responsible for marketing initiatives.

Day-to-day responsibilities include:

  • Manage partner relationships
  • Build rapport with Key Account clients through responsiveness, recommendations and collaboration
  • Grow and retain client business
  • Manage campaign development including writing call guides, voicemails and email fulfillment, sourcing calling lists and coordinating all other aspects of client campaigns as needed
  • Conduct initial training and do ongoing monitoring and coaching of business development specialists
  • Provide regular reports to clients along with insightful analysis of results
  • Monitor program metrics activity to ensure alignment with client objectives and scope
  • Manage internal meetings to collaborate on best practices, new ideas and report on program status
  • Manage external client meetings to design and develop new campaigns, report back on results and identify additional opportunities where we can provide support
  • Manage Client Managers
  • Develop and maintain internal processes focused around continuous improvement of services offered to clients
  • Collaborate with the leadership team to develop the business and drive growth
  • Develop and execute on a marketing plan

REPORTING & WORKING RELATIONSHIPS

The Manager of Client Services will work closely with and report directly to the Executive Vice President of Sales & Client Services. The Manager of Client Services will work closely with internal operations (IT/Programming and Contact Center Management), Sales, the Leadership Team and clients. Client contacts vary, but tend to be Marketing Vice Presidents/Directors/Managers, Sales Vice Presidents/Directors/Managers and Product Managers of mid to large sized companies.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Minimum job requirements include:

  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to efficiently multitask and manage time and resources according to multiple deadlines and changing campaign parameters
  • Highly responsive to emails and phone calls
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to lead and manage team efforts to achieve results
  • Builds credibility and rapport quickly at all levels of the organization
  • Demonstrated client retention in previous positions
  • Decisive and able to make sound recommendations to clients and internal staff on campaigns
  • Ability to interpret raw data to identify trends and make recommendations
  • Positive, open-minded, curious and solution-focused attitude
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Account or project management experience
  • 5+ years professional experience, preferably with business-to-business, healthcare and/or med-tech experience
